International institutions continue to wrestle with the challenges of climate change and energy security. In Brussels, government delegates and scientists have worked the whole night to find a compromise on the second report of the 2007 IPCC report on climate change. The British government has put the issue of “Energy, Security and Climate“ on the agenda of the UN’s Security Council on 17 April. The Guardian has more on this.
