With all the recent fuss over green and less green cars for Commissioners, a few tips might give them some ideas:
- Honda and Toyota top the list of “greenest” automakers published by the American Union of Concerned Scientists’ (UCS) on 3 April. But, then again, European car producers have promised that their “integrated approach” will deliver in the future. So, next year, Volkswagen and BMW on number one and two? Long live competitiveness!
- And if the commissioners want to buy new computers, they should go for Lenovo, according to the latest Greenpeace International “green ranking” of the electronics industry. The Chinese PC maker has overtaken Nokia and Apple is the worst performer.
Euh? Japanese and Chinese? I thought Europe was the world’s environmental leader 🙂Author : Willy De Backer
